The First Annual New Canaan Music Festival is seeking funding to present an event to be held at the New Canaan Nature Center in New Canaan CT on Saturday September 19th 2026. Presented by Michael-Louis Smith Music in partnership with the New Canaan Nature Center 501(c)(3), this day-long family-friendly music festival will feature live music, kids activities, and bring the community together in a positive way through music. All funds received help to cover the costs of the event including musical artists, equipment rentals, security, staffing, and sanitation.

Our mission is to present a day long family-friendly festival and bring the community together in a positive way through music. The New Canaan Nature Center is located at 144 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan, CT. Gates will open Saturday September 19th at 11a.m., music will begin at 12p.m. and with performances until 10p.m.. Live music will be performed throughout the day on two stages including a concert for kids and activities for families with children. This event is rain or shine and guests are encouraged to bring a portable chair. There will be no overnight camping permitted. Tickets are available at www.newcanaanmusicfestival.com and guests are encouraged to register for their tickets early as space is limited*
